Outer Eye is a new kind of art advisory. We exist to help people new to buying original art fill their homes with incredible pieces they’ll love for a lifetime.
Every home deserves to be filled with beautiful art that makes you feel something—whether your budget is $500 or $50,000, you just need to know where to look. That’s where Outer Eye comes in.
We scour studios, galleries, MFA programs, art fairs, and every corner of the internet to find the most exciting artistic talent in the Bay Area and bring their work to your home.

Buying art shouldn't feel like a test you might fail. If you're not having fun, we're not doing it right.
Getting started: $500
The initial fee covers the consultation, research, and curation that goes into building your artist list. If you end up buying a piece, that $500 is applied directly to our commission, so if you buy you've effectively paid nothing for the advisory itself. Our commission is incorporated into the retail price of art, so you never pay more for working with us.
What's included:
In-home or video consultation about your space and your taste
A curated list of artists matched to what you're looking for
Studio visits with artists, and gallery visits when relevant
Coordination with artists or galleries on available work, pricing, and commissions
Support completing your purchase and arranging delivery
Guidance on framing, placement, and installation
What's not included:
The cost of the art itself, plus framing, delivery, and installation (paid directly, at cost)
Hands-on management of framing and installation (available as an add-on)
Appraisals, insurance, or resale guidance
